Wet Wedding

What a nice day... for a... white wedding.... uh, well, a WET wedding for sure! This day was wet and messy and unfortunately was moved indoors instead of on the beach. Luckily we were able to sneak out for a few moments and get a few shots between sprinkles - and in the end, all that matters is they were married. This was one of the most interesting weddings I have ever been to, twists and turns and lots of fun! Beautiful bride, handsome groom, family and friends galore and a surprise preacher. And of course, no wedding is complete without a pint-sized conga line!

Brrr!!

We froze our butts off downtown during this morning session. Thankfully this family was super easy to photograph and we were done in record time. This particular family found me through a local school... I had donated a family session to the PTO as an auction item for an event. They were the lucky winners! They are truly an amazing family that I was thrilled to meet and photograph.

Mini Senior Session

My how times have changed... my senior yearbook picture looked NOTHING like the ones they have now! We did a quick mini session in downtown Papillion for her senior yearbook picture - I can't wait for her full session this spring - guarantee those won't look like the ones in my day either!

Fall Family Photos

We did a combo session with this family this past fall.... I have been a little behind in my posting but that all ends tonight! We started at the Holy Shrine then decided to venture out onto the country roads. Lucky for us we found a great spot at a home where the residents allowed us to use the road, fence and yard for posing. This has to be one of my favorite spots... now, I'll just have to find it again!! This young lady was amazing! Typically shy and reserved, she really opened up to the pictures and I had a really hard time choosing which images to share!

First Birthday Beauty!

This little beauty just turned ONE so mom and dad planned pictures for her and big brother. They have probably the most beautiful eyes I have photographed. Mom, dad and big brother helped sneak out a few smiles with funny sounds, jumping around and acting silly.

Mother To Be...

Apparently the end of June is a popular time of year to bring new life to the world... this week alone I know of three babies making their debut appearances. This mommy to be wanted to document her first pregnancy with a few images capturing the beloved baby belly. To all the parents out there expecting new little ones in to the world - best wishes and congratulations!
