Fall Family Photos

We did a combo session with this family this past fall.... I have been a little behind in my posting but that all ends tonight! We started at the Holy Shrine then decided to venture out onto the country roads. Lucky for us we found a great spot at a home where the residents allowed us to use the road, fence and yard for posing. This has to be one of my favorite spots... now, I'll just have to find it again!! This young lady was amazing! Typically shy and reserved, she really opened up to the pictures and I had a really hard time choosing which images to share!

First Birthday Beauty!

This little beauty just turned ONE so mom and dad planned pictures for her and big brother. They have probably the most beautiful eyes I have photographed. Mom, dad and big brother helped sneak out a few smiles with funny sounds, jumping around and acting silly.

Mother To Be...

Apparently the end of June is a popular time of year to bring new life to the world... this week alone I know of three babies making their debut appearances. This mommy to be wanted to document her first pregnancy with a few images capturing the beloved baby belly. To all the parents out there expecting new little ones in to the world - best wishes and congratulations!

Seniors - Class of 2012

Graduation is upon us... and with that the dreaded Senior Pictures! I have found that typically, but not always, girls are much more willing to get all dolled up and go out and have a photo session completely focused on them. New clothes. Styled hair. Clean make-up. Guys on the other hand... not so much! Give them jeans and a t-shirt and they are good to go!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Seven years ago, I was blessed with the birth of my baby girl. Since then, my life has been on fast forward - can you believe she is seven! I can't, I mean, really, I am only 29... and then some! She is such a little diva, I can assure you someday she will be on TV and your kids will be singing and dancing to her number one songs.

She opted for a Rock Star Party Sleep Over (with 14 seven-year-old girls) complete with karaoke, dancing and a limbo contest. I had about all I could handle by the time the movies and "quiet" time rolled around... quiet time didn't hit until about 1:30am. Happy Birthday Lucy!

Let's Try This Again...

Winter is soooo slow for photography... especially when you have no studio. This winter has been extremely mild but this didn't help bring in any additional photo ops... as I told my husband, nobody wants a dead tree in their picture.

These are from early this winter - well, just before Christmas.

And, yes, I am finally getting them posted. Yay me.
