I was asked by my two cousins, M and S, to design Graduation Announcements and an Open House invitaion for them last month. I wanted to do something a little different since they are graduating college - they are young and hip - I wanted something people would remember, not just the typical graduation announcement. I found these pocket envelopes and had to use them. They opted for a traditional black pocket card and a white outer envelope. The Announcement was centered in the card and the open house invitation was placed in the pocket at the right. The great thing about these pocket envelopes is that the company I ordered them from has a huge variety of colors, everything from black or white to lime green or red. Congratulations M and S!!
This second image shows the invitation placed inside the pocket of the card:

Invitation Design
Here are two invitations I did within the past few months. The first is my daughters birthday invitation. I designed the front image with a photograph I took of her in the backyard. I had the cards printed through Winkflash - highly recommended!!
This second invitation is for my sister-in-law, T's, thirtieth birthday. It was designed as a postcard but also came with envelopes for added security and privacy.

Leavin'.... On a jet plane.
Don't know when I'll be back again.... yes, so true. My husband and I are leaving for Atlanta tomorrow morning (bright and early, mind you) and driving home an RV for a friend. We will hit a few spots on the way, hopefully catching some great memories as we go. My 3-year-old is beside herself waiting for morning and her airplane ride. Wish me luck, should be interesting!! I'll be back mid-week with some new projects I've finished lately.
